ISA offers a wide range of programs and destinations for students currently studying in Australia and New Zealand who wish to pursue study for academic credit at a university abroad. Short term programs allow students to participate in a study abroad program without losing progress on their academic pursuits. Typically available during the Winter break between semester 1 and semester 2, ISA refers to these programs as “Summer Programs” on our main site since they fall in the Northern Hemisphere summer. Don’t let the lingo confuse you!

All short-term programs include academic credit. Each course is unique in subject area and location, giving students a wide variety of programs to choose from. If you won’t be returning to uni for Semester 2 or have more flexibility in your schedule, there are more options available to you. You can read about all ISA programs taking place between May-August (North American summer) on ISA’s main website.
