Studying abroad in France provides students a unique look at the deep values of a nation united in cultural pride and tradition. While participating in French immersion, business or arts programs at different French colleges, ISA students encounter a picture-perfect landscape, important architectural and historical structures and world-renowned arts and entertainment.

The allure of France as a study abroad destination lies in its inspirational effect on curious minds, making it a non-stop learning environment and an academic threshold. Not surprisingly, France yields some of the largest, most progressive, prosperous, and high-tech cities in Europe, if not of the world.

Yet the country is also strewn with small towns and villages, rich in their own right and the destination of travelers time and time again. Exploring any combination of these urban and rural landscapes that are so integral to France’s identity is sure to result in a meaningful, life-changing study abroad experience, fulfilling the academic goals of students, and then some.

ISA offers programs in two French Cities: Paris and Lille. In Paris, students may choose to study at one of three universities. The Institut Catholique de Paris hosts French summer programs, arts summer programs and semester/year programs. The Sorbonne hosts semester and year programs in French language and culture. ISA’s business programs in Paris are offered through the American Business School Paris. Students seeking to study in Lille will have the opportunity to attend the Université Catholique de Lille, which offers courses in various disciplines during the summer.
