What is an OS‑HELP loan?
OS-HELP is a loan scheme from the Australian Government. The scheme allows you to borrow up to $7,500 AUD to help cover the cost of your program. It can cover a range of expenses, including airfare, accommodation, or other travel costs. The money is paid back via your HECS debt. Like other HECS debts, it is fee-free and interest-free.
In order to qualify for OS-HELP, you must be receiving academic credit at your home institution.
